We are excited to share that we have an opportunity to see the play “OH MARY” at the Ahmanson Theatre this fall. We are announcing this now to get a pulse on how many tickets to purchase based on interest this November and December.
For those of you that do NOT know about the play here is a brief scenario – “OH MARY” is a wildly irreverent comedy by Cole Escola that takes the historical figure Mary Todd Lincoln and turns her into a completely fictional, absurd, and deeply unhappy character in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. Rather than being a serious historical drama, it is a CAMPY farce that intentionally distorts history for laughs. The Broadway world described it as one of the funniest Broadway comedies in years. It has received Tony Awards etc. And come comes with high praise from our illustrious leader (Gary).
Tickets will go on sale in July. We will probably pick a weekend (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) – Matinee/Evening (flexible). It runs from November 10th through December 6th 2026. So please let us know if you are interested and any blackout dates for you. We will purchasing the tickets in July and be in contact before purchasing tickets.
